The Walkthrough tab is an excellent way to give users a sneak peak of the great features available within your app. The content appears when the app is launched before the home screen is shown. It is primarily meant to describe and summarize the more advanced functionality of the app such as audio playback, location-based and camera-based features. The content of the Walkthrough tab is pre-populated by our system but it is all customizable.
You might have noticed that a Walkthrough tab had been added to your app by us. This is because it greatly improves the app’s chances of approval with Apple. However if you don’t like the tab you can remove it from your app at any time (although we recommend keeping it active until after Apple has approved the app)
If you would like to add a Walkthrough tab to an app that does not have one, please follow the following steps:
1. Go to step 1: Functionality and select the Add New Tab button.
2. Type in a tab title and select the Walkthrough tab under Tab Function.
3. Select an app icon already provided or upload a custom icon and save your changes.
*Note: This tab will not appear in your app as an active tab.
4. Next go to step 2: Content and find your newly created Walkthrough tab.
5. The fields are already populated with content but feel free to customize it to your liking. Don’t forget to save changes!
